COMMON CO-OCCURRING DISORDERS

 

Wellness Retreat is a drug and alcohol rehab center that provides detox and inpatient rehab for those suffering from addiction.

 

 

EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

 

In the City of Los Angeles, the eviction protections for non-payment of rent due to COVID-19 economic impact are in effect through August 1, 2023, which is twelve months after the expiration of the City’s State of Emergency Declaration.

 

 

FREE AND REDUCED LUNCHES

 

The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is a federally assisted meal program operating in public and nonprofit private schools and residential child care institutions.  It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day.

 

Applications are provided at the beginning of the school year in registration packets.  If you did not fill one out at the beginning of the year, an application may be filled out and submitted to the main office.  Lunches are provided daily in the cafeteria.

 

 

FEE WAIVERS

 

Some students may be eligible for fee waivers for college exams and applications.  Please talk to your counselor to obtain an application.

MCHS is committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and positive learning environment for all students.  Individualized Educational Plans and 504’s are available for students who need special accommodations in the classroom.  A student support team of resource specialists, paraeducators, counselors, a psychologist, and additional district personnel are available to provide direct support and instruction.  Please talk with your academic counselor for more information.

CCIS staff provides crisis response and recovery services in partnership across multiple L.A. Unified Departments, the Los Angeles School Police Department, as well as community stakeholders and agencies.

TESTING FOR COVID-19
