Team Tryouts (2023-2024)

What do you need to do to participate in Tryouts???

#1 - Create an account in AthleticClearance.com and complete all of the information. Returning students do NOT have to create a new account, you can just update your current account if necessary.  (See Athletic Forms and Documents page for details and assistance)

#2 - You must have a valid Physical completed on the LAUSD Physical Form.  This Physical (Original Only) will then need to be turned in to the Coach of the sport you wish to tryout for and then it will be cleared by the Athletic Director and School Nurse. 

#3 - Make arrangements with the Coach to attend Tryouts. 

2023 - 2024 School Year:

Completed paperwork including an updated Physical is REQUIRED and must be submitted prior to participation in any team tryout.  Please go to AthleticClearance.com to download and complete all forms. This now includes the required online classes (Concussion and Sportsmanship) at NFHSLearn.com.  There are links to each as you complete the website.  Also available:  Healthcare Insurance and Asthma forms.

If the sport(s) that you are interested in do not have any tryout info, they may be waiting until the beginning of the school year in Aug, the end of the Fall Semester in December or the beginning of the Spring Semester in January.  Please continue to check for updates. 

IMPORTANT: Incoming 9th Grade students are NOT allowed to participate in any athletic tryouts/practice until they have completed course work at their currently enrolled school.  Only after graduation can the above participation take place.  Athletic teams will schedule tryouts after Middle School graduation for these students.
