Your Journey Begins Here!
Congratulations on becoming a future Cougar! The Dr. George J. McKenna III Middle College High School (MMCHS) Summer Bridge Program is designed to help incoming ninth-grade students make a smooth and successful transition from middle school to high school.
During Summer Bridge, students will meet future classmates, connect with teachers and staff, explore our campus, and become familiar with the unique opportunities available through our partnership with Los Angeles Southwest College.
This engaging program combines academics, team-building activities, workshops, and fun experiences to help students begin high school with confidence.

Although Summer Bridge is not required, it is strongly encouraged for all incoming ninth-grade students. Students who participate begin the school year feeling more prepared, connected, and confident.
We look forward to welcoming the Class of 2031 to the MMCHS family and helping you take the first step toward an exciting high school and college experience.
